Keeping your SRS account safe and secure is an important part of maintaining your academic records at DigiPen, and that's why
we are requiring students to enable Two-Factor Authentication and use it whenever they log in to SRS.
Please have an app that supports Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) functionality such as
Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator installed on your phone before starting.
Our instructions cover activation through QR code, but you also have the option of activating through a number key.
Switch to your phone and open the authenticator app we recommended you download above.
In the app, select the option to scan a QR code.
Microsoft Authenticator: Tap the plus sign in the top right corner, then select the school account option. Finally, pick the scan QR option.
Google Authenticator: Tap the plus sign in the bottom right corner, then select the QR option to activate your camera.
Using the camera within your phone's authenticator app, scan the unique QR code that is revealed on the webpage.
After you scan the unique QR code, click "Verify your login" on the webpage.
On the code verification page, enter the six-digit code generated by the app, then click "Login."
If you run into any issues setting up Two-Factor Authentication or using your TOTP-compliant app, please contact Helpdesk for additional guidance. You can also reach out if you need to reset your Two-Factor Authentication.
Your account should now be safely secured, and you can start using SRS for all your academic needs. Have your authenticator app easily accessible as SRS will prompt you for a unique code every time you log in.
